Web3 Atlas

Free access to the brains of the worlds biggest Web3 accelerator now accessible to all founders. As a hub for Outlier Ventures' thought-leadership, Atlas is designed to exhibit the expertise that we have internally. As every founder is on a different timeline, the platform will consist of educational material designed to help upskill around the most common challenges they are facing vs purely academic module style. Hosted on the Outlier website, the aim of this is ultimately to incubate high-quality founders and drive them into Base Camp.

Problem

The first exploration for Atlas brand was not in line with the look and feel of Outlier Ventures’ brand, it felt disconnected and we wanted to address that.

Solution

Get back to the original Outlier Ventures’ logo mark concept and develop from that same structure a new shape that has the same DNA. The use of a complementary colour also helped to tell the story of Atlas.

Learning

As I already knew logo design is a tedious process, it takes several iterations. Often time to get one good shape you have to go through 99 kinda good versions. As a designer I love this process though.
