Video production

At Chapeaux and the beginning of my experience at LloydsDirect, I’ve been working a lot on the production of in house videos, from simply working on the post-production of footage to film shoots and editing them into a short film.

Problem

When it comes to producing a film there is a lot of knowledge needed, ranging from the setup to props and cast. The editing also requires narrative skills, because you are creating a story that needs to flow and convey the overall message.

Solution

I have learned a lot about the dos and dont’s of video production to get the best usage of semi-professional tools. My knowledge of the post-production program made it easier to practice mid to long film editing as well.

Learning

My mixed skills in both graphic and motion design give me a good view of producing strong edits, and with experience. I’ve learned some of the best practices for the industry; I still have a lot to learn in this field, but I’m sure I have enough knowledge to lead and direct external resources to turn to complicate briefs into well-executed films.
